Healing Connections
How has your autumn been? It’s turning to winter here in Minnesota. It’s been a few months since I’ve written on my own blog. I have been writing my intuition and healing book, managing the Holistic OT Community, teaching holistic health classes, supporting clients, and interviewing fascinating and intelligent people on the Healing Connections Podcast. On the Healing Connections Podcast I interview thought leaders and health care practitioners about integrative health, wellness, prevention, spirituality, and consciousness. Here are some of the people I have had the good fortune to speak with to bring you great content you might not find anywhere else. Each episode is 30-60 minutes. They’re on my YouTube…

Intuition: The Heart of the Matter
I have been writing my intuitive development book this summer. I am half way through creating it and am loving it. Finally, I am able to focus on these warm summer days to listen to my intuition and allow what wants to come forward to be written. Even though it was scary when I first embarked on this path, and I didn’t exactly know where I was going, I learned to listen more fully to my intuition and what was calling me. Had I continued to stay in those types of working environments I would have continued to…

How an Attitude of Gratitude Can Improve Your Life
By Emmy Vadnais, OTR/L What are Your Grateful For? Taking a few moments each day or weekly to have an attitude of gratitude may improve your life. Research supports findings that there is an association with gratitude and an overall sense of well being. “Gratitude is the appreciation of what is valuable and meaningful to oneself and represents a general state of thankfulness and/or appreciation.” ~ Sansone & Sansone, 2010 Focus on What’s Right It may seem more easy to focus on what you feel may be going “wrong” in your life or what you want to improve, instead of focusing on what is going well. It can be helpful to…
