    Hello Emmy,

It is great to see the approach for holistic intervention being embraced by the profession of occupational therapy. As you stated in your definition for holistic occupational therapy it captures the mind, body and soul for performance of activities of daily living I strongly agree. I am in the process of starting my own business in the community and home environment and one of my strong desires is to incoporate the holistic appraoch as a service. I would love to talk with you more on this topic please feel free to contact me via email.
    Sincerely,
    Cyneta Hill

    Hi Emmy!

Im a OTS and holistic and preventative therapy has always aligned with me, I came across you on YouTube and would love to talk further with you about the need for change and the stability in straying away from normative OT and the over specialization 🙂

    Warmly,
    Grace

    Hi Emmy,
I have been an OT for 20-ish years, mainly Skilled Nursing facilities. This past year I have changed settings to serving clients who live in Independent Living and Assisted Living facilities. These clients are alot more independent then in skilled care and they want to age gracefully! I am really looking forward to learning some holistic approaches to incorporate in my practice and I’m so grateful to find you in my research! I am a Yogi and I practice Yoga 3-4 times a week and know how amazing its benefits are. I am looking to incorporate this as well as Meditation and Reiki when working with the residents. Thanks for being a STRONG VOICE in this practice area! Peace and Blessings!!!
