Learning and Teaching – What Life is All About
This is me teaching at the Holistic OT Yoga and Meditation Retreat. I love teaching! I love learning! Isn’t that what life is all about? It has been quite a journey learning how to be on the other side of health care or sick care so I could help people to stay well, prevent disease, and listen to their intuition. Even though it was scary when I first embarked on this path, and I didn’t exactly know where I was going, I learned to listen more fully to my intuition and what was calling me. Had I continued to stay in those types of working environments I would have continued to…

How an Attitude of Gratitude Can Improve Your Life
By Emmy Vadnais, OTR/L What are Your Grateful For? Taking a few moments each day or weekly to have an attitude of gratitude may improve your life. Emmy’s Musings and Spring Update 2017
It’s been a little while since my last blog post. It has been a full beginning to the new year in 2017! I am fortunate to have been asked to create an online course for the American Occupational Therapy Association on “Occupational Therapy with Complementary Health Approaches and Integrative Health.” This came about after petitioning them with the Holistic OT Community requesting that they offer more continuing education courses on these topics. I spent most of the end of December and all of January, in between client sessions, creating this course. Integrative Medicine is being utilized by more people in recent years. For example, there are twice as many people in…

It lay dormant…
