I have recently become the Guest Host for New Thinking Allowed. This makes me so happy!
For many years I enjoyed the program Thinking Allowed on public television. That’s where I first learned about many mind-expanding and deeply enriching topics from leading figures, such as intuition, psychic phenomena, E.S.P./telepathy, guided imagery/creative visualization, spiritual communication/mediumship, quantum physics, UFOs, and holistic health. The program was hosted by Jeffrey Mishlove, PhD from 1986 – 2002. I was about 13 years old when I first started watching this program. Looking back, I see how foundational it has been in informing my life and guiding my professional path forward.
In 2015, I was happy to see that Dr. Mishlove created New Thinking Allowed, where he continues to interview thought leaders on these same topics. Dr. Mishlove is a parapsychologist who recently won the grand prize in an essay competition through the Bigelow Institute for Consciousness Studies for the best evidence for the continuation of consciousness after permanent bodily death. My first interview as Guest Host was interviewing Dr. Mishlove about his essay, “Beyond the Brain: The Survival of Human Consciousness After Permanent Bodily Death.” You can read his remarkable essay along with other winners here. A story about my deceased mother-in-law communicating to me and another family member through a text is in this essay.
I had the pleasure of interviewing Dr. Mishlove in 2018 for my Healing Connections Podcast about Consciousness and Healing. A couple of years later, I began volunteering with New Thinking Allowed to help support reaching more people for them to learn about these topics, especially how intuition can assist each of us in our lives, as well as our planet, as I have written about in my Intuitive Development book.
You can view or listen to the fascinating conversations I get to have with guests on my New Thinking Allowed playlist. Of course, do check out New Thinking Allowed for even more wonderful guests and to enjoy Dr. Mishlove’s elegant conversational style, who has been interviewing incredible people on these topics for over four decades. Thank you, Jeffrey Mishlove, for sharing so much with me!
Here are a few more recent interviews I have conducted with other delightful people.
